Some people think giving is a four-letter word.
Taboo.
Something you just don’t talk about.
But giving is biblical. We’re called by God to share our time, our money and our God-given talents.
God gave them to us. All He’s doing is asking us to pass them along and share with others.
If you’re like me, the sharing of time seems to be the most sacrificial. I’m stingy with it.
So, in 2013, I’m going to ask God to stretch me a bit to help me to be more giving with my time.

Is there a charity that’s on your heart? A volunteer opportunity you’ve been thinking about? A God-given passion you’d like to pursue so you can share it with others?
And if you’re in a church and you’re sitting on the sidelines, I beg you to devote more time to help out. Don’t sit back and let 10 percent of the people do 90 percent of the work. Lend a hand!
