Help Michael Build A Classroom in Uganda

In December 2013, our 10-year-old son Michael announced to us that he wanted to collect the money needed to help build a school in Africa.

He said it was something that God had set on his heart — to help build a place where kids in Africa can have the same experiences that he has at school.

It costs $30,000 to build a classroom.

That’s a BIG project for a little kid. But Michael has a huge heart. And we serve an even greater God, don’t we? So we set out to find a way to help Michael realize that dream.

In Numbers 11:23, God said to Moses:

Is the Lord’s arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you.

We prayed for answers, and God led our family to contact Bob Goff, author of the incredible book “Love Does.” And Bob, through his great organization Restore International, has partnered with Michael to help him begin raising the funds needed to build a classroom in Gulu, Uganda! (Read more about our journey to partner with Bob.)

We’re just beginning this exciting journey with Restore International and we have a long way to go.

Will you help Michael build a classroom?

Sincerely,

Eric and Corinn Eckert
